Serial number 8259 is an early 68 cab which still has the highly desired full stick as well. The speakers, including the cones, are in fantastic condition, and sound amazing. The codes have worn off all but one of the speakers, but they are all original. The price has been reduced accordingly. This cabinet was purchased from Gene Sinigalliano of Ultrasound Amps in NYC a few years ago, and has been used lightly and well maintained in a professional recording studio. Gene is meticulous about only buying the best, and he can help authenticate this cabinet\/speakers if necessary.The bass cones are also rarer and more highly sought for their tone, as they take the edge from the ice picking treble, and produce incredible bass response. Although all Greenbacks of this era are labelled as 75hz, these are the 55hz cones.If you are looking at this cabinet, you know what it is. You will not find a better example of the sound of these speakers. This cabinet has some cosmetic wear and tear in the tolex, which is to be expected of a vintage cabinet. Celestion G 12M 25 watt Greenbacks with the super rare origial Pulsonic 014 - 55hz Bass cones. Serial number 8259 is an early 68 cab which still has the highly desired full stick as well. The speakers, including the cones, are in fantastic condition, and sound amazing. The codes have worn off all but one of the speakers, but they are all original. The price has been reduced accordingly. This cabinet was purchased from Gene Sinigalliano of Ultrasound Amps in NYC a few years ago, and has been used lightly and well maintained in a professional recording studio. Gene is meticulous about only buying the best, and he can help authenticate this cabinet\/speakers if necessary.The bass cones are also rarer and more highly sought for their tone, as they take the edge from the ice picking treble, and produce incredible bass response. Although all Greenbacks of this era are labelled as 75hz, these are the 55hz cones.If you are looking at this cabinet, you know what it is. You will not find a better example of the sound of these speakers. This cabinet has some cosmetic wear and tear in the tolex, which is to be expected of a vintage cabinet.
