The Klon has many different faces these day and it runs second only in the most cloned overdrive pedal, first being theTube Screamer. The Klon was created by Bill Finnegan and it was so popoular he was even amazed by the attention. Bill now makes the Klon KTR pedal however guess who built the first run of the KTR Klon? Yep, J. Rockett. The same company that now builds the Archer. Get the picture.

The J. Rockett Archer has the most authentic Klon tone of any pedal since the original.  However, unlike the original this one is built with a smaller foot print allowing you to save the space on the pedal board and it's built like a tank. When picking it up the first thing you'll notice is how heavy it feels. It's solid.

One feature I love about this pedal are the top mounted jacks. I have players all the time asking me if certain pedals can be made with top mounted jacks. Not alot of pedals are built this way but the Archer fits that need.

All in all, there is no denying the sound this pedal produces. A side by side comparision, blind folded, you could not tell the difference. It's got the sound and the best part about it is you don't have to take out a loan to buy one.
